The Serbian school "Nikola Tesla" in Niagara Falls, Canada began its operations on October 1st, 2010. It was established primarily to satisfy the needs of the Serbian communities’ children in the Niagara region and of course their parents, to help them get more familiar with the history, language, culture and traditions of the people to whom they belong. In other words, we have created a way in which all of us can benefit by learning together and participating in various activities in order to preserve our identity in a region far away from our homeland Serbia.
Nonetheless, the Serbian school "Nikola Tesla" is of course welcoming to members of other nationalities who wish to learn the basics of the Serbian language, and to learn something about the Serbian culture, history and tradition.
Besides regular classes within the relevant curriculum during the school year, the Serbian school "Nikola Tesla" organizes and participates in the organization of various events aimed to promote our homeland and the Serbian people in this region.
